Entries must be received by May 1, 2010.

Contestants will be notified of their acceptance to the live final round by June 1, 2010.

Contestants may wish to send materials by registered mail or Fedex for assurance of receipt.

Competition Rules

The competition is open to harpists of any nationality who meet the following requirements.

Competitors may enter one of the following divisions, according to the age specifications. Entries must include all the materials listed on the application page.

Emerging Artist Division—ages 11 to 19 on July 8, 2010
New Artist Division—ages 11 to 14 on July 8, 2010

Entries must be received (not postmarked) by May 1, 2010. Entries received after this date, incomplete entries, or entries that do not comply with the rules will not be considered. There will be no exceptions.

Contestants must select from the repertoire choices listed here. All repertoire must be performed from memory.

Contestants must adhere to the time limit for their division; the time begins when you begin playing and ends when you finish, including pauses within your performance.

Contestants who are invited to the live final round may bring their own instrument, or use one provided by the competition.

The decision of the judges is final.

Winning contestants must be available to perform in an evening concert on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, in Rabun Gap, Georgia. The recital will feature all winners in both divisions.
